WorldTimeNow is a free, ad-supported world time zone reference built for travellers, remote workers, and anyone who needs to know what time it is anywhere on Earth, right now.

What We Provide

Every city page on WorldTimeNow shows a live clock that updates every second, powered by your browser's built-in timezone API and the IANA Timezone Database — the same database used by every major operating system, programming language, and cloud platform. No estimates, no rounding: just the precise current local time for that city.

Alongside the live clock, each city page provides the IANA timezone identifier, current UTC offset, Daylight Saving Time status and schedule, and comparison tables to help you quickly calculate time differences for scheduling.

Coverage

We currently cover over 50 major cities across 6 continents, 20 country-level timezone guides, and 10 educational articles on how time zones, UTC, and Daylight Saving Time work.

Accuracy

All times are generated client-side in your browser using the Intl.DateTimeFormat API with verified IANA timezone strings. The displayed time is only as accurate as your device's system clock. For most devices synced to an NTP server (as all modern smartphones and computers are), accuracy is within milliseconds of true time.
